We have reviewed a document titled, "Setting up PR-Tracker for use over the internet" but it does not address our unique situation.
We are running PR-Tracker version 4.30. We have three NT 4.0 servers over which we want to setup PR-Tracker Web
On the first server we are running IIS and our Proxy Server.
On a second Server we are hosting our Website.
Yet on a third Server we are hosting the database for PR-Tracker.
What is the best way for us to implement PR-Tracker for use over the internet?
ANSWER:
1) Place the prtracker.asp file on the "second" server which is hosting your website.
2) Leave the database in the current location on the "third" server.
3) Install PR-Tracker on the server running IIS and Proxy Server so that it is connected to your database on the "third" server.
4) Install PR-Tracker Web Server on the server running IIS and Proxy Server.
This above answer assumes that the directory tree containing your website on the "second" server is a virtual directory on the "first" server which is hosting IIS.
