QUESTION:
What is the recommended practice when the database gets large and SLOW?
What is the recommended practice if you hit the 9999 limit on # problems?
ANSWER:
Create a new project and copy a subset of problems from the large project to the new one. The subset of problems can be selected by a query. The copy operation in under the PR-Tracker File menu. You query should probably exclude problems that are Closed AND that have not been modified for a month or so.
NOTE: Only PR-Tracker 4.50 has a limit of 9,999 problems. PR-Tracker 5.0s limit is 100,000.
