QUESTION:

I am trying to configure a Windows 2008 (64-bit) server. When I get to step 9a of the help file instructions under Using PR-Tracker Over the Internet, I received the following error info in the browser:

Server Error in '/PrtrackerWebService' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Could not load file or assembly 'Prtracker.Common' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'Prtracker.Common' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

ANSWER:

This error relates to the fact that 64-bit code is trying to link to 32-bit code. The solution is to right-click on Prtracker6Pool, select Advanced Settings, and change Enable 32-Bit Settings to True.
