When starting PR-Tracker Web Client I get the message "PR-Tracker has lost connection with the internet" when I try to connect. Actually what happens is after pressing the Connect button I get:

1) "Connecting" on the Status Bar
2) "Response Received" on the Status Bar
3) PR-Tracker Web Client appears to hang but after a minute a dialog pops up with message "PR-Tracker has lost connection with the internet".


This error can occur in the Internet Explorer option to "Allow per session cookies" is set to Prompt. Change this option to Enable or Disable and PR-Tracker Web Client should work.

If you are using IE5 do the following step to check the cookie settings:
1) Select Internet Options from the Tools menu
2) Select the Security tab on the Internet Options dialog
3) Selected Internet or Local Intranet on the Security tab
4) Press the Custom Level option
5) Scroll down the settings until you find "Allow per session cookies (not stored)"
6) Select Enable or Disable
7) Click OK
8) A warning dialog box popup, "Are you sure you want to change the security settings for this zone?" Click Yes.
9) Click OK
10) Click OK
