QUESTION:

We want PR-Tracker to use SQL Server to store the data. The data is currently stored in access. How do we convert it to SQL Server?


ANSWER:

Each project stores it data in either an Access 2000 database of a SQL Server Database. To convert a porjects data to SQL Server, do the following steps:

1) On the computer with SQL Server, open PR-Tracker.
2) Do PR-Tracker menu Setup | Configure Current Project
3) Select the Database tab and change the database provider from Access to SQL Server
4) Press the OK button. PR-Tracker will do the conversion.
